aespa Karina Lookalike? Instagram User Gains Attention for Similarities to Kpop Idol
At the time SM Entertainment released the debut teaser photos for their new girl group, aespa, back in October 2020, Karina and Winter were the first members to be revealed. Both girls have been highly praised for their captivating visuals, and some people claimed they look so alike.
But there were also discussions that Karina and Winter both look like Girls' Generation Taeyeon and WJSN Yeoreum.
One time, a magazine photo (picture below) went viral as netizens had a hard time figuring out which K-pop idol was in the picture- whether it was aespa Karina or WJSN Yeoreum. It was the similarity in styling and the angle that the image was captured from that had netizens confused.
But they eventually concluded that it was Yeoreum as the idol in the photo doesn't have Karina's famous mole near her lips.
