SEVENTEEN Dino To Not Join in 'Be The Sun' US Tour Because of THIS

The thirteen-member group SEVENTEEN will temporarily be twelve members after one of them got COVID while in the United States amid their "Be The Sun" world tour. According to Pledis Entertainment, Dino tested positive of the virus. As a result, the group will move forward with their U.S. schedules without their maknae.

Pledis Entertainment posted on Twitter on August 17 about the current situation of one of SEVENTEEN members, Dino.

Currenly, the idol is in self-quarantine as he is experiencing mild sore throat. He will not be attending SEVENTEEN's appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and their "Be The Sun" stop in Huston, Texas.

Pledis Entertainment then released an official statement, saying:

"Hello.

This is PLEDIS Entertainment.

We would like to provide you with information on SEVENTEEN member Dino being diagnosed with COVID-19, as well as adjustments in his activities.

Dino took a PCR test in Los Angeles on August 16 (PT) and was confirmed with COVID-19. He is currently experiencing a mild sore throat and has been under self-quarantine and administering self-treatment, away from the other members.

All SEVENTEEN members other than Dino took PCR tests and the results came back as negative.

In this regard, the Los Angeles concert scheduled on Wednesday, August 17 (PT), "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" to be aired on Thursday, August 18 (PT), and the Houston concert scheduled on Saturday, August 20 (PT) will proceed as planned with 12 members except Dino who will thoroughly comply with the guidelines of the health authorities in the United States.

We will continue to provide support for the rapid recovery of Dino, placing our highest priority on the health and safety of our artists. We will also continue to fully cooperate with the requests and guidelines of healthcare authorities.

Dino also posted on Weverse, saying he felt better after CARATs wished him well. He added that they need not worry because he is being taken care of by the entertainment agency.

Meanwhile, his fans cannot hide their worries as they tweet supportive and comforting messages to the maknae. Other CARATs are wishing the idol a speedy recovery.

SEVENTEEN Embarks on 'Be The Sun' Tour in U.S. + Other Activities

SEVENTEEN is in the middle of their U.S. tour for their "Be The Sun" concert shows. They are set to hold their concert at the Kia Forum in LA tonight, August 18 (PDT).

After that, the group will also perform live for the first time in late-night show "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

All of these will be missed by Dino, including the next two stops of their concert, which is at the Toyota Center in Houston and Dickies Arena in Forth Worth.
