YOUNITE Member Sexually Harassed TWICE Chaeyoung?
In the alleged edited photo, it is seen that the YOUNITE member edited a picture of TWICE's rapper with the words "Kimochi". The word is known to be used by non-Japanese as something sexual because it is usually heard in Japanese porn videos.
Though the word literally translates to "I feel good" or "feeling good", it is not seen in that way, especially in the context of the photo. With the way his head is angled together with the filter of Chaeyoung's photo, fans are not having any of it.
International ONCEs are trending the words 'APOLOGIZE TO CHAEYOUNG' and '#KICK_OUT_HYUNSEUNG' because of the incident.
They want the male idol to be punished for the photo even though it is not yet confirmed if it is truly edited.
Meanwhile, on PANN, other K-pop fans are disgusted by the photo. Many are saying that the YOUNITE member is a creep for posting his photo. Some others are sad for the group itself since they just debuted and they have issues like this. They also feel bad for former X1 member Eunsang.
There are also comments like:
"The group hasn't even debuted for this long and one of their members is already a creepy incel. When will companies start to do a background check on their trainees?"
JYP Entertainment Not Responding To Posts And Rumors
Tons of tweets are now directed to TWICE's company, JYP Entertainment after Brand new Music released their statement regarding the photo and legal action.
Now, TWICE fans also want JYP Entertainment to do the same and take legal actions to protect the member, especially since she was a minor at that time.
"Onces, this is his company's response. This means we now have to urge JYPE to do something. We already did our part to let this reach his company and we got THIS. I am so disappointed but definitely not surprised.
PROTECT CHAEYOUNG"
