NCT Lucas Returns to Social Media With Cryptic Post
Recently on August 28, NCT and WayV member Lucas took to his personal social media account to update fans with a new photo. On his Instagram account, Lucas shares a cryptic photo of people playing sports at the beach.
This marks Lucas' first social media post in over six months. His last post was back in February of this year, which was the first time he posted on social media following his gaslighting and cheating scandal that occurred back in August 2021.
Back in August 2021, a netizen claiming to be Lucas' ex-girlfriend stepped up to accuse the idol of not only cheating on her, but also gaslighting and leeching money off of her. Other alleged ex-girlfriends also came forward to reveal a same scenario happened to them.
At the time, Lucas issued a handwritten apology to apologize for the scandal. Although he did not directly refer to the scandal. Since then, the idol has been on indefinite hiatus and hasn't promoted with NCT or WayV in more than a year.

Now, after six months, the NCT member posted a photo without any caption, similar to his previous Instagram post. Upon further inspection, the photo Lucas shared was a scene from the Hollywood film Top Gun Maverick.
As a result, began theorizing the meaning behind his post with a scene from the film. In particular, in the scene that Lucas shared, "I Ain't Worried" by OneRepublic was played as background music. Upon knowing this, fans interpreted Lucas' new post as a way for him to reassure fans.
Lucas' Latest Post Garners Mixed Reactions
Following Lucas' latest Instagram post, many are happy new see a new update from the K-pop idol, with many hoping to see his return with activities this year.

However, others also expressed mixed reactions. While they are happy for the new post, they felt as if Lucas or SM Entertainment needs to release an official statement directly addressing the scandal, and confirming whether or not the accusations made are true.
