Girls' Generation Wraps Up 'Special Event,' Goes Beyond Time Limit

Girl's Generation held their fan meet on September 3, and went beyond their time limit to entertain their fans, SONEs, who have been waiting for them for five long years!

Girls' Generation Expresses 'Long Lasting Love' For SONEs

Girls' Generation wrapped up their fan meet "Special Event - Long Lasting Love" on September 3 at KSPO Dome in Seoul. It was also simultaneously aired live through Beyond LIVE for the fans that couldn't attend the live event.

The ladies of the legendary girl group's event was only supposed to be for 90 minutes, but it became a three-hour event!

There, they performed many of their hit songs "Gee," "Genie," "Into The New World," "Party," "Kissing You," their latest "Forever 1," and many more!

Girls' Generation members started the fan meet with their iconic song "Genie" with their sailor uniforms. They followed it with their 15th debut anniversary song "Forever 1." The fan chants were loud and the cheers were endless, proving the SM Entertainment girl group's influence and stature.

They also sang their iconic debut song "Into The New World," even wearing their debut stage outfits. They continued performing with their hit "Gee" while still wearing the same outfits.

Girls' Generation Members Turn Emotional During Fan Meet With SONEs

At Girls' Generation's "Special Event - Long Lasting Love," members Yuri, Hyoyeon, Tiffany, Sooyoung, YoonA, and Sunny cried with SONEs.

During their ment, the girls did ending fairy poses and one of them was Hyoyeon. The other Girls' Generation members joked that her ending pose should just be of her crying instead of doing a cool or pretty pose.

Sooyoung also did her infamous hair flip for her ending pose. However, her hair did not really cooperate with her body making it cover her face, which made the members and the fans laugh.

On the other hand, Sunny also tried to do an ending pose. However, she was the last one to do so, and the other members were suggesting so many ideas that she said it was "burdening" for her to do it.

Meanwhile, Yuri did her "muscle queen" poses again, which made the members and the fans burst into waves of laughter. She also influenced their youngest member, Seohyun, to follow her and do the same. And when she did it, fans found it adorable instead.

Then, Tiffany joked that JTBC could call her anytime if they are thinking of making "Soshi Tam Tam" Season 2.

SONEs Turn Girls' Generation's Special Event Into 'Cosmic Fiesta'

Many Girls' Generation fans showed up at Girls' Generation's "Special Event - Long Lasting Love" in their pink OOTDs. This was why it was surprising some wore out-of-this-world costumes, making it seem like the event's theme was "cosmic fiesta."

Some SONEs wore an alien suit or mask that is still color pink, while others found it cool they did all that to follow the motif.
