During an online fan sign event on July 23, 2022, aespa member Karina mentioned IVE member Leeseo!

During the event, Karina had mentioned STAYC member Yoon. She revealed that the two of them had recently talked and became friends. Yoon told Karina that aespa's songs are good, and Karina told Yoon that she enjoyed STAYC's songs. She suddenly mentioned Leeseo, saying she wanted to talk to her as well.

Leeseo is a well-known fan of Karina. Back in April 2022, IVE appeared on "Omniscient Point of Interference." There, the members' dorms were revealed. When it showed Leeseo's portion of the room, viewers spotted a photo of Karina on her wall.

Leeseo has also stated during a fansign event that Karina is a female idol she wants to be friends with.

On September 5, footage from an online fan sign with IVE's Leeseo was shared on TikTok.

In the video, the caller showed Leeseo the video of Karina during their call. After seeing Karina, Leeseo's face adorably lit up. Upon hearing Karina's words, Leeseo gasped and put her hands up to her face, telling the caller she had also seen the video.

The caller stated that her sister was a fan of Karina and that her sister wanted her to show Leeseo the video.
