In July 2010, Girl's Day debuted with five members, with Yura and Hyeri being added to the lineup two months after to replace former members Jiin and Jisun. After promoting as a group for nearly a decade, with member Jihae leaving the group in 2012, the Girl's Day members parted ways in January 2019. Although they are currently inactive, they have not officially disbanded.

Yura's Activities With Girl's Day Before Indefinite Hiatus
Yura was added to Girl's Day's member lineup in September 2010, where she served as the group's main rapper, lead dancer, vocalist, and visual member.
She marked the beginning of her official activities with the group with the digital release "Girl's Day Party #2," featuring the lead single "Nothing Lasts Forever" in October of that year.
As a member of Girl's Day. Yura promoted with the group and joined in all of their promotions and activities. With Girl's Day, they released numerous hit songs that established themselves as one of the most popular and commercially successful girl groups from the second generation.
Some of the hit songs Yura released with the group include "Twinkle Twinkle," "Hug Me Once," "Don't Flirt," "Oh! My God," "Don't Forget Me," "Expect," "Female President," "Something," "Darling," and "Ring My Bell," among others. These song have all sold more than or nearly a million digital copies.
In the next couple of years, Yura also participated with the group in making broadcast appearances and snagging endorsement deals.

But after nearly ten years of promoting together, the four remaining members, Yura, Hyeri, Sojin, and Minah parted ways with their agency Dream T Entertainment in January 2019. The members decided not to renew their contracts with the agency, and began seeking other agencies for their individual careers.
Although the members are no longer under the same agency, and Girl's Day having remained inactive since 2019, they have not officially disbanded. Their latest release as a whole group was their fifth mini album "Everyday #5," which was released in March 2017.
Yura's Latest Activities Following Girl's Day's Indefinite Hiatus
Following her departure from Deam T Entertainment, Yura signed on with Awesome Ent to manage her individual activities.
Not much changed with Yura, as she continued on with her broadcast appearances and actively pursued her acting career.
In 2019, she hosted MBC's Idol Star Athletics Championships (ISAC). She also appeared as a host for the tvN program Seoul Mate 3, and became a cast member for the show Cabin Crew. From 2017 to 2019, she hosted Weekly China Now. More recently, she hosted the show Trend Record from 2020 to 2021.
In June 2021, Yura also became the special DJ for the radio program Young Street. She also recently concluded her role as a panelist for the first and second season of the show Transit Love.
As an actress, Yura is slowly building her filmography. She made a cameo appearance in the dramas Psychopath Diary and Find Me in Your Memory. She also appeared in the SBS drama Now, We Are Breaking Up.
This year, she starred in the JTBC drama Forecasting Love and Weather, where she had a main role. Yura is also set to star in the film Hauch.
Aside from acting, Yura also partakes in other activities. Back in December 2021, Yura made her debut as an author by publishing her poetry collection entitled Journeys in Different Seasons.

More recently, Yura launched her solo art exhibition in August 2022, which features her own artworks. She also showcases her artworks on her art account on Instagram YUL*LAND.
