BTS Spends Chuseok in Advance With Respective Families
Currently, BTS in the midst of preparing for their upcoming free concert Yet to Come in Busan as part of the city's bid for the World Expo 2030. But despite their busy schedules, the members still took the time to celebrate an important holiday, Chuseok, with their fans ARMYs.
On September 8, the seven BTS members gathered together while wearing hanboks to hold a live broadcast through Weverse to spend the holiday with fans.
As they were wearing beautiful hanboks, a traditional Korean clothing, the members were showered with praises for continuously promoting Korea's culture with the world.
In particular, the members asked each other what they were doing during Chuseok and while they are taking an indefinite hiatus from their group activities.
In fact, this would be one of the few times that the members would get to spend a holiday with their respective families, as they had barely gotten any rest in the past nine years of their career.
To this, member Jin revealed that he went back home to his family to spend Chuseok with them in advance. J-Hope also revealed that he did the same, considering that traffic during Chuseok is always heavy.

They then talked about some of the memories they have with their families whenever Chuseok rolls around, such as the road trips, the hilarious fighting, and more.
BTS Reveal Amount of Pocket Money They Gives to Relatives During Chuseok Holiday
Specifically, they also talked about the pocket money, or the red envelopes, that they would receive from their relatives.
Now that the members are old enough to give pocket money to younger relatives, they wondered how much is enough to give.
V asked, "If you give too much, it is a bit... How much do you give?"
To this, Jin revealed that he would give around ₩50,000 KRW (around $36 USD) to ₩100,000 KRW (around $77 USD) to his relatives and siblings, which is the same amount he received when he was a child.
Hearing this, J-Hope expressed his surprise and asked, "Isn't that too much?"

To which Jin responded that prices these days have inflated a lot, and that even middle school and high school students would usually carry around ₩10,000 KRW (around $7 USD) to ₩20,000 KRW (around $14 USD) these days. In fact, he even feels that he is giving way too little.
Hearing this RM sympathized with Jin, and added, "These days, even children are wearing luxury shoes."
Meanwhile, BTS will be holding a free live concert in Busan this coming October 15 KST at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium.
