All About Josh: Nayeon's Stalker Actions, JYP's Response
This is not the first time that the German sasaeng (obsessed fan) tried to reach out to Nayeon. Aside from leaving her video messages, he crossed the line between a fan and an idol when he started stalking the "POP!" singer at her dorm, riding the same plane as her and even trying to get close not only to her but as well as other members.
The stalker has been continuously stalking Nayeon due to the delusion that he is dating the female star in real life. In fact, he boarded a plane returning from an overseas schedule in January 2020 and attempted to approach Nayeon, causing a disturbance on board.
On top of that, he threatened to k*lling Nayeon if he found out that she is dating someone that's not him.
Following these, ONCEs (TWICE fandom) demanded JYP Entertainment protect Nayeon from Josh, and in response, the agency filed a criminal complaint against the stalker for obstruction of business (Article 314 of the Criminal Code) and filed an injunction with the Seoul Central District Court to prohibit access.
However, the result didn't become favorable to Nayeon as it was reported that the ban was temporarily lifted because Josh went back to his country and also showed remorse.
Now that he's back, fans are urging JYP Entertainment to strengthen security for TWICE, especially for Nayeon.
