BLACKPINK Rosé Noticed to Often Stand Sideways in Group Photos- Here's Supposed Reason
On Sept. 16, BLACKPINK made their highly-anticipated return with their second full album "BORN PINK," which contains the title song "Shut Down." The album was preceded by the pre-release single "Pink Venom," which dropped in August.
On the 25th, BLACKPINK appeared on SBS's "Inkigayo" to perform "Shut Down." It was also the day "Pink Venom" won its seventh music show trophy.
Amid the busy schedule of the four-member girl group, BLACKPINK Rosé caught the attention of one netizen for her poses in group photos where the members stand side by side.

In particular, in one of the "Pink Venom" teaser images and "Shut Down" pictures from SBS's "Inkigayo," it is noticeable that Rosé is the only one standing sideways, while her members stand normally.
The netizen shared the pictures in question on the online community Nate Pann, and wrote in the title of their post, "The Reason Why Rosé Is Always Standing Like This." They also wrote in the body, "She's always standing sideways in their group pictures."
The netizen then revealed what they think is the reason BLACKPINK Rosé poses like that in group photos, saying it's probably because of the height difference of the members. They also attached images where the "On The Ground" singer can be seen standing straight and looking taller than her co-members.

"When she's standing straight in their group pictures, there's too much height difference so it seems like she's trying to match up to the other members," the Nate Pann user said.
In the comments section, another netizen pointed out that even when the other BLACKPINK members are wearing heels, Rosé is still taller.
Other netizens in Nate Pann agreed to what the poster said, and some also commented about the height of Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa. Some of the comments are as follows:
"That's what I thought too. The height difference is bigger than I thought."
"She's frail and feminine so I didn't think that she'd be this tall but she's 169cm. Wow."
"Height difference aside, Jennie's legs look so short when she's standing right next to Rosé."
"Wow Lisa's face is small and her arms and legs are so long so I thought that she was super tall. So cute."
"Wow, Rosé is a lot taller than I imagined."
"Oh my, the legs, the height, the hair. She's a tall queen."
