On October 21, 2022, British Summer Time (BST) festival dropped the bomb on their official social media pages that the relentless K-pop girl group, BLACKPINK, will hit the Hyde Park stage on July 2, 2023, for the said event.

This makes BLACKPINK the first K-pop idol group to headline one of the UK's major music festivals. With this, BLACKPINK joins P!nk, Billy Joel, The E Street, and Bruce Springsteen as 2023 confirmed headliners so far.
The girls are currently rocking their Born Pink Tour as they recently concluded the South Korean leg for last week's concert. With this BLACKPINK-BLINK reunion, members have shared their happiness that the tour will not just give them a chance to meet the Korean BLINKs but also international BLINKs.
Conversely, the eldest member, Jisoo, expressed and admitted, "It's so meaningful to start our tour in Seoul. We made some mistakes due to nerves since it's been four years, but I hope you still had fun."
