Rain's 'DOMESTIC' Speculated To Have Plagiarized American Rapper's Song
On October 18, Rain released the song "DOMESTIC" for "Street Man Fighter," also known as "SMF." Following its release, the introduction of the song was accused of plagiarizing American rapper Armani White's "BILLIE EILISH."

"DOMESTIC" was released as the semi-final song for "Street Man Fighter," and dance crew We Dem Boyz created the choreography. However, the plagiarism controversy has overshadowed the song's intent.
"DOMESTIC" and "BILLIE EILISH" are both of the hip-hop genre. However, people pointed out that it is difficult to find a difference between the hook (highlight of the song) and the prelude between the two tracks. Several people claimed that "BILLIE EILISH" immediately came to mind the moment they heard "DOMESTIC."
They said,
"The song is not sampled. We just received the song from a composer who collaborated with Mnet. Both songs can be considered similar since they are both of the 'Arab hip-hop' genre."
Ten Asia also reached out CJ ENM for comment.
They said,
"The composer Caesar participated in composing 'DOMESTIC' for 'SMF.' The arrangement of the string instruments at the beginning of the song is similar, but it is a coincidence"
