TWICE Tzuyu did the "Nxde" challenge with Shuhua of (G)I-DLE, and this caused a huge meltdown among ONCEs and Neverlands.
On November 6, the "Nxde" challenge video with Tzuyu and Shuhua was released on (G)I-DLE's official YouTube channel and other SNS. Just a day after its release, the clip trended, amassing over 455k views, about 70k likes and 1k comments.
According to Billboard on November 6 (KST), (G)I-DLE's fifth mini-album entered the "Top Album Sales" chart in 9th place.
Earlier on November 1, the album entered 71st on the Billboard 200, while its title song, "Nxde" entered 13th on the Billboard Digital Song Sales Chart, 50th on the Billboard Global 200 and now 34th on the Billboard Global (U.S. and overseas) chart, rising 164 places.
"Nxde" then topped the domestic music charts every day, firmly maintaining the top spot on the charts, and the new album "I love" topped 40 regions around the world upon its release, surpassing initial sales of 678,000 copies, recording a 284% growth rate.
Not only these, but "Nxde" MV has not only surpassed 24 million views within a day of its release but also proved its hot popularity by maintaining the No. 1 position in the country's soaring popularity video every day.
In addition, it surpassed 100 million views on YouTube within 17 days and 16 hours of its release on October 17, setting the "shortest period among fourth-generation girl groups." (G)I-DLE also holds its eighth 100 million-view music video, setting a record for the "group with most MVs with 100M views among fourth-generation girl groups."
