Lee Seung Gi's Agency Apologizes For Recent Legal Issues

The apology statement was released following Lee Seung Gi's move to send content certification to his agency.

Sports Chosun divulged that the request was due to his desire to see the full and transparent disclosure of his music earnings. Per the report, the "Because You're My Woman" singer thought there were discrepancies in his financial statements and matters with his agency.

Hook Entertainment confirmed the request and agreed to review the data.

Amid its preparation, its CEO got embroiled in a related controversy after the release of a voice recording of his verbal abuse.

Dispatch released the audio recording between CEO Kwon Ji Young and Lee Seung Gi's manager. The clip recorded the CEO threatening the actor to kill him, saying that he would spend his whole life to kill him.

The manager then lost his cool and told the CEO he would leave the company after nine years.

He then told the news outlet that Lee Seung Gi was not able to ask about his music revenue because the CEO always gaslighted him.
