On November 29, Jeon Somi graced Day 1 of the 2022 MAMA Awards with her stunning presence as one of the MCs of the two-day event held in Osaka, Japan.
On this day, Somi flaunted her multilingual skills, hosting the show while speaking in Korean, Japanese and English. She also helped to maintain the energy of the show for more than 4 hours, with her vibrant visuals and personality.
On top of this, she also became a hot topic during the broadcast for donning various unconventional outfits every after break and segment.
Meanwhile, Jeon Somi expressed her feelings about being selected as a host and said:
"Thank you for giving me an honorable position as a host even though I'm still young."
She also posted on Instagram, saying:
"Congratulations to everyone who won the award today. The artists who prepared for the performance worked really hard. MAMA staff, thank you for your hard work. I love you. The family event was so overwhelming. I myself did a great job."
