LE SSERAFIM Chaewon, THE BOYZ Q, More To Join 'Fill In The Blank' Documentary Cast
Watcha recently announced a new project for fans to see. The project is established as a 'musician documentary' where it will feature K-pop idols to star in.
The documentary will feature LE SSERAFIM Chaewon, Oh My Girl Hyojung, The Boyz Q and ATEEZ Wooyoung.
For its main context, the documentary will take a closer look on the idols' lives outside the stage. They will be showcased in their daily lives, without their flashy profession. Instead of delivering throughout their idol life, the project will get a glimpse on their personal outlook.
It will also provide an interesting take on the idols' professional lives, seeing how most of the cast are 4th generation idols and is accompanied by the only 3rd generation idol Hyojung.
Nevertheless, the show will explore more of their personalities and social life.
'Fill In The Blank' will be aired on Watcha on January 3, 2023.
Exploring Relevance of Documentaries In The K-pop Industry
'Fill In The Blank' isn't the first documentary released in K-pop. This type of film is much more common in the industry, since K-pop companies are known to be strictly private regarding their idols' lives.
Every K-pop fan knows how frustrating it can be when idols are restricted on living how they like, due to rules. That includes diet, dating, interaction and more. It's proven how much of fandoms want to see their faves be their genuine selves.
To showcase K-pop idols' other sides, sometimes light can be shed in a form of a documentary. Most will focus on how idols are living, aside from their glamorous and stressful career.

Documentaries can highlight a group's trek on the K-pop scene, such as LE SSERAFIM's 'The World Is My Oyster,' showcased their highs and lows into debuting. It showed their journey from debuting until becoming one of the most known rookie monsters in 4th generation K-pop.
Another example of this format is 'TWICE: Seize The Light' where TWICE members expressed their struggles from their trainee days, to their rising popularity and their first iconic world-tour in 2019.
Sometimes, K-pop documentaries would focus on a group's concert voyage. An example of this storytelling is BTS' 'Bring The Soul: The Movie,' BIGBANG's 'Big Bang Made,' SMTown's 'I AM' and SEVENTEEN's 'Hit The Road.'
With Watcha's upcoming release on January, fans have yet to see the personal take on idols Chaewon, Wooyoung, Q and Hyojung. Considering their stage presence combined, fans will surely anticipate what they'll be like in the documentary.
