Circle (Gaon) Chart has released its annual album sales report, which shows the performances of Korean artists in terms of album sales this 2022. In their report, Circle Chart revealed the top 15 best-selling male artists, which included top-tier acts like BTS, Stray Kids, SEVENTEEN, and more. Circle (Gaon) Year-End Chart: Best-Selling Male Artists in South Korea in 2022 (Top 1-2)
According to the Circle (Gaon)Chart's year-end album sales report, the No. 1 best-selling male artist in South Korea in 2022 is none other than the seven-member global boy group BTS. The septet remarkably recorded 6,078,249 album sales.
Rounding out the top 5, TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) secures No. 5 with 2,788,232 album sales. It is worth noting that the quintet only has one new album released this year, which is titled "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" - which sold over 1.78 million copies in South Korea as of Nov. 25.
