In "FEARLESS" MV, it began with a group dance with LE SSERAFIM's sharp angle which overwhelms the eyes of viewers from the beginning. They then performed in a variety of spaces, including pink hair shops, stages reminiscent of chessboards, and neon sign backgrounds.

The members show their individuality with nail art and hairstyles and show their freedom not to be tied to anything, such as jumping over the barbed wire and unfolding the catwalk.

After watching this, an internet user commented that the background reminds them of aespa's music video, which also showcased pink-themed spaces. The outfits the two groups wore were also both pastel-colored. In fact, Eunchae and Giselle shared the exact style of the miniskirt.

There is also a frame where Karina and Kazuha were both using their phones with bubble messages appearing on the screen.

"It feels like watching the same MV."

As soon as the post spread online, both fandoms of the group, FEARNOT (LE SSERAFIM's fandom) and MY (aespa's fans) defended them, saying:

  • "The colors were only similar, but the MVs were totally different."
  • "How many music videos used concepts like this?"
  • "Nope, LE SSERAFIM were in a pink shop, aespa's feels more like at an attic."
  • "They didn't copy aespa's, but they made it a lot like those Japanese idols. Just like the original concept, why don't they just wear sportswear? It's too much girl crush for Japanese idols."
  • "Isn't it a very common concept?"
