In K-pop, it's rare for K-pop idols to get married while they are active. Aside from the possibility of being canceled by fans, these celebrities prefer to focus on their careers first.
Despite this, some are slowly breaking these norms and building their families while being active the industry, such as TVXQ Changmin, EXO Chen, iKON Bobby, F.T. Island Minhwan and more.
Many K-pop fans acknowledge that idols are also ordinary people who fall in love and will eventually find someone they can spend their lifetime with. There are also plenty of idols who have the belief that marriage is not a must; therefore, they declare themselves to be on the non-marriage side.

1. GOT7 BamBam
During a broadcast, GOT7 BamBam revealed that he is a non-maritalist. At the time, he confessed:
"I'm completely non-marital."
BamBam added:
"I think it's hard to come up. In the case of idols, they don't even have that much time to sleep. I don't want anyone to take my life anymore. I want to be happy alone. I don't want to live by looking at someone."
2. Sandara Park
Although Sandara Park is known for being linked to various male idols, the star declared on Instagram that she will enjoy her non-marital life more after an acquaintance's wedding last year.
She also mentioned her stand of not wanting to get married several times through MBC's "King of Mask Singer" and KBS2's "Pyeon restaurant."
3. Brown Eyed Girls JeA
Since 2018, JeA has revealed she doesn't want to spend her lifetime with someone.
She confessed:
"I want to show that a non-marital life can be this happy. My own life is fun to think of marriage," explaining that her spontaneous personality is not compatible with marriage.
4. HA:TFELT
Former Wonder Girls Ye Eun also known as HA:TFELT announced that she's strong-willed about not getting married that she even prepared a non-marriage house.
She explained:
"I don't have the confidence to get married. I don't think I have an eye for a good man. I have a lot of friends around me who get married, but I have a lot of things I want to do and I want to focus on myself."
However, she later appeared on MBC's "Radio Star" and clarified:
"If someone who can really spend a lifetime with me appears, marriage could be an option, but I don't want to think that I should get married because I'm getting older."
5. Girls' Generation Sunny
Girls' Generation Sunny is also consistently sticking to the position of "non-maritalism."
In 2017, she initially stated:
"I don't know if I have to get married."
In 2021, Sunny added:
"There has been no turning point in my life to reverse my non-marriage yet."
In addition, the popular idol through Mnet's "TMI News" also said:
"I've been talking about celibacy since I was about 19 years old, and I've been talking about 'non-maritalism' since the word non-maritalism came out, but it's so comfortable. I'll stick to non-marriageism until I get cautious and wise."
