The singer actress discussed her career, where she reflected to her golden days in K-pop as an S.E.S. member. Eugene caught fans' curiosity on how SM has scouted her to become an idol.
Before she joined the industry, Eugene was caught in the K-pop rabbit hole with pioneering group H.O.T., and went to see them at the airport. To her surprise, Eugene also came across Lee Soo Man, SM's founder, and exchanged numbers with him.
Eugene shared that she was contacted after several days and asked her if she could pay SM Entertainment a visit.
"We exchanged numbers that time, and he contacted me after a few days. He asked me if I could come to Korea and visit them at SM Entertainment."
