In the K-pop scene, former IZ*ONE turned soloist Lee Chaeyeon is always mentioned for being one of the best idol dancers along with BLACKPINK Lisa and TWICE Momo. But what rank would she give herself if she would be the judge?
Lee Chaeyeon Ranks Herself & Sister ITZY Chaeryeong Among Best Idol Dancers
In a broadcast, Lee Chaeyeon expressed her confidence in dancing, revealing what rank would she give herself among idol dancers.
On April 6, the female idol particularly made an appearance on the YouTube channel, "No Back Tak Hae Joon," as a guest and enjoyed a casual conversation with MC Tak and Shin Gyujin.
During the broadcast, the MCs brought up Chaeyeon's relationship with her younger sister, Lee Chaeyeon, who is a member of a popular 4th-gen girl group ITZY.
Shin Gyujin especially confessed that he had a hard time distinguishing them apart, due to their uncanny similarities.
With this, Lee Chaeyeon explained:
"There are many people who misunderstand us for twins, but actually more people say that we don't look like each other in person."
When asked:
"Who do you think is prettier?"
Lee Chaeyeon avoided answering it, but praised her sister, saying :
"There are so many words that (Chaeryeong) has risen these days."

Tak Jaehoon continued to press the star if there is "sisters' rivalry" going on and explicitly asked:
"Who is better?"
Lee Chaeyeon wittily replied in the past tense and stated:
"I was really good (back then). But now, I haven't settled down as a soloist yet, so my younger sister is doing well (better) now."
As the conversation went on, the topic was then diverted to Chaeyeon's specialty, which is dancing. When she initially debuted in IZ*ONE in 2018, the star became the main dancer of the group and eventually rose as one of K-pop's best idol dancers. She was also given the nickname, "Feather Chaeyeon," thanks to her ability to make even the complex movements look lighter and easy to watch.
When asked if she's a good dancer, Chaeyeon responded confidently:
"I'm great at dancing. I only lost a little bit in the battle, but I'll never lose in dancing," referencing when she appeared in Mnet's "Street Woman Fighter."
Finally, the "HUSH RUSH" singer was given the question:
"What do you think is your rank among idol dancers?"
Chaeyeon candidly replied:
"I'm in the top 5. My younger sister Chaeryeong is not there. She is ranked 6th below me."
Lee Chaeyeon To Make Comeback With 2nd Mini-Album 'Over The Moon'
Meanwhile, after IZ*ONE disband, Lee Chaeyeon didn't join a new girl group but instead pursued her career as a soloist.
After releasing her debut album in October last year, she's finally releasing her second mini-album, "Over The Moon" on April 12.
Her agency WM Entertainment confirmed that Chaeyeon already completed filming for her MV, and as this is her first release six months after "HUSH RUSH," expectation is already high.
