On April 28, Nam Dohyon filed for a provisional injunction, which requests the termination of his contract with PocketDol Studio.

According to sources, the injunction was made because of the fulfillment of contract obligations, to which Nam Dohyon and the company had differences in opinion. The injunction's request acceptance will be revealed around May or June.

It was also reported that the lawsuit's questioning was originally scheduled on April 12. However, it was then changed to April 26, when it proceeded firmly. The agency also shared a brief statement regarding the matter, confirming the legal battle.

"It is indeed true that we're in a legal dispute with Nam Dohyon."

After his activities in "Produce X 101" and project boy group X1 in 2019, Nam Dohyon became a member of BAE173, who debuted on November 19, 2020.

On October 8, 2022, Nam Dohyon went through a temporary hiatus because of health concerns. The idol took his time during this hiatus by recovering his health, as announced by PocketDol Studio on their official announcement.

"Dohyon's health worsened because of COVID -19's long term aftereffects. With his current condition, it would be difficult for him to perform his scheduled activities."

"To prioritize his recover, Dohyon will take a break from his scheduled endeavors, as concluded by our thorough discussion. BAE173 will continue to promote with eight members."

Nam Dohyon's group BAE173 has also participated in JTBC's newest survival program "Peak Time" with the name of Team 13:00. However, he wasn't included in the team.
