During a 2019 V Live broadcast, he received multiple calls from obsessive fans, forcing him to block the incoming calls. In 2022, a similar incident occurred during a live broadcast from a hotel room, where the idol received several phone calls but no one was on the other end. Jungkook found the situation unsettling, comparing it to a horror movie.
Past Incidents with Sasaengs
Jungkook has previously expressed his frustration with sasaeng fans. During a V Live session in 2019, he shared that he gets many calls from sasaeng fans and has no choice but to block them.
In another live broadcast in 2022, Jungkook voiced his annoyance and fear when the calls continued despite his pleas to stop. "I don't like the phone call ringing sound. I'm annoyed and it's scary. I'm getting goosebumps," he stated.
Jungkook's Message to Sasaengs
Addressing the issue on Weverse, Jungkook wrote, "Please do not send food deliveries to my home. Even if you do, I won't eat it. I appreciate the sentiment, but I'm taking care of myself. Please use the money for yourself. I'm warning you. If you send food again, I will find the order number from the receipt and take action. So please stop."
