About three weeks after Moonbin's passing, ASTRO fans, AROHAs, protested against Fantagio for allegedly ignoring the late idol's health complaint in the past.
ASTRO Fans Accused Fantagio of 'Ignoring' Late Moonbin's Health Complaint Before Passing
AROHAs, fans of the late ASTRO Moonbin announced a boycott of its agency, Fantagio Entertainment.
On May 9, a supposed fan wrote in an online community, demanding clarification of the late Moonbin's death.
The AROHA particularly pointed out that prior to the unfortunate incident, the former idol confessed to having a hard time, yet the company "ignored" these signs and pushed Moonbin's excessive schedule despite his poor health condition.
Fans then paid attention to the late idol's live broadcast along with his co-member Sanha after the duo's Bangkok concert in Thailand on April 8, just 11 days before the saddening news.

At the time, Moonbin directly said:
"I wasn't feeling well, but I'm fine now. It was a little hard, but I tried not to make it obvious as much as I can. I'm so sorry. It's a job that I chose, so I have to handle it."
This immediately raised fans' anger as the day before his live broadcast, Fantagio Entertainment was already aware of the late idol's poor condition. On that day, the company even released an official statement, saying:
"Moonbin was scheduled to leave for Thailand, but after arriving at the airport, he conducted a COVID-19 test due to poor condition accompanied by dizziness.
But he was confirmed to be negative and is now taking a rest. After recovering back the idol's good condition, he will leave for Thailand and proceed with his schedule as planned."
AROHAs Announces Boycott Of Fantagio If
Will Not Explain About Late Moonbin's Death
On April 19 then, Moonbin was found at his home in Gangnam-gu, Seoul and it was reported that he ended his life at the age of 25. The police emphasized that there is no suicide note.
Despite this ruling, fans are hoping for more detailed information about his death and warned Fantagio of a "boycott" if there is no explanation from the company.
AROHAs stated:
"It reflects the rotten reality of the Korean idol industry, which regards its artists as machines that make money without respecting them as human beings."
In line with this, fans were carefully mentioning that Cha In Ha, a former actor under Fantagio also died in December 2019 as well due to an extreme choice.
The fandom added:
"Two artists from Fantagio have already gone to heaven. Is Fantagio planning and preparing measures to prevent the same thing from happening to the remaining artists in the future?"
