In a recent revelation, former 2NE1 Sandara Park candidly shared how plastic surgery profoundly impacted her group before their debut.

Sandara Park consistently dazzles the audiences with her visuals, talent, and undeniable charisma, whether as part of the renowned 2NE1, through her solo endeavors, or during her appearances on popular variety shows.

On the 18th of July, Sandara made a guest appearance on JTBC's program, "Salty Dangpo," alongside fellow idols Chae Rina, Brown Eyed Girls Narsha, and ITZY Chaeryeong.

The episode delved into their personal experiences within the K-pop industry.

However, a month before their debut, they were unexpectedly instructed to visit a dermatologist, and it was during this visit that Sandara personally experienced her inaugural encounter with plastic surgery.

She recalled:

"We poured a lot into our training and such, but a month before our debut, we were suddenly told to visit a dermatologist. So, we went, and we ended up getting fillers."

While it is not uncommon for idols to undergo plastic surgery, the revelation that the 2NE1 members were required to do so prior to their debut exposes the somber reality of the industry.

Although the procedures may not have been extensive, they undoubtedly placed immense pressure on trainees and exemplified the unforgiving expectations regarding their physical appearance that idols would invariably face.
