He remarked:

"They could have had a promising future, and it's disheartening to witness this situation."

The current turmoil revolves around Fifty Fifty's decision to file an injunction to terminate their exclusive contracts with their agency, Attrakt.

Their claim cited violations of transparent and faithful provision of settlement data, neglect of members' physical and mental well-being, and inadequate support for their entertainment activities.

Attrakt's CEO, Jeon Hong Joon, fired back at the allegations, asserting that the company had invested approximately 8 billion won in the group. He defended the agency's efforts, disclosing that they utilized all of Attrakt's assets and even borrowed funds from the CEO's mother to support Fifty Fifty. He criticized the claims made by the group, considering them baseless speculations that disregarded the significant financial investment made by the agency.

Ongoing Dispute Threatens Future Prospects of Rookie Girl Group Fifty Fifty

Interestingly, CEO Jeon Hong Joon drew attention as it was revealed that he was the mediator in a past conflict involving members of the mixed group "Sharp," namely Seo Ji Young and Lee Ji Hye.

Fifty Fifty, a rookie girl group under Attrakt, debuted in November the previous year. The quartet, comprising Sio, Saena, Aran, and Keena, released their single album "The Beginning: Cupid" in February. The track "Cupid" struck a chord with audiences, exploring the emotions experienced after facing rejection.

The success of "Cupid" has been remarkable, with the song reaching new milestones, including charting on the U.S. Billboard and amassing over 100 million views on YouTube.

As the group's popularity continues to soar, the ongoing dispute with their agency has put their future prospects in jeopardy. Fans and industry watchers anxiously await further developments in this evolving situation.
