Wake One Takes Legal Action Against Threatening Posts, Ensuring Safety of Artists
The agency representing the group, Wake One, confirmed that they have filed a complaint against the individuals responsible for issuing threatening posts online and on social media.
The incident came to light on July 9 when Wake One lodged a formal complaint with the investigative agency against the authors of these disturbing posts, citing a violation of the Act on Promotion and Protection of Information and Communications Network Utilization.
As concerns grew over the safety and wellbeing of the members, the agency made it clear that they would not tolerate any form of fear-mongering or actions that could potentially harm their artists.
"We will take all available legal action against any words or actions that cause fear or anxiety, including actions that may jeopardize the personal safety of our artists. Our artists' safety is of paramount importance, and we are committed to protecting them at all costs."
