In a broadcast, Super Junior Eunhyuk and Ryeowook revealed an anecdote citing their "contribution" to the successful debut of their junior boy group, SHINee. What is it about?
Super Junior Eunhyuk, Ryeowook Hilariously Take Credits for SHINee's Successful Debut
On September 1, Super Junior Eunhyuk and Ryeowook appeared as the special DJs of SBS PowerFM's " Cultwo Show" originally hosted by broadcaster Kim Tae Gyun, who went on a vacation.
On this day, Fly to the Sky Brian and TraxX Jungmo appeared as the special guests who are both known as first-gen idols. Sitting together, Ryeowook highlighted how all of them except him were former SM Entertainment artists and drew laughter.

In relation to this, Ryeowook asked:
"Now I can say it. Did the agency ever say, 'Don't do it!' when you were with SM? Have you done anything?"
Hearing this Jungmo replied:
"When I debuted as TraxX, I had a lion's head and makeup that was really strong. I also wore 10cm-tall heels. But teacher Lee Soo Man told me to do that even when I go to the supermarket. He explained, 'You should imprint that you are originally like this."
Brian then shared the time when he would order expensive meals that even his popular seniors H.O.T and Shinhwa couldn't eat despite having a set 5,000 won/person ($4) budget per meal.
Eunhyuk jokingly called him out for it and Brian funnily revealed he actually held back by not ordering the steak.
When asked if SM still limits its artists' meal budget, Eunhyuk revealed an anecdote from its junior group, SHINee.
"I don't know now, but since the company had some more money to spend at our time, we could even able to eat up to two menus per person. I could just order it freely regardless of the price. So we would order sweet and sour pork. But our Super Junior members would order too much. It stopped again after us. It changed to one menu per person again."
When Brian pointed out that SHINee and Red Velvet couldn't eat more after them, Eunhyuk and Ryeowook both laughed and agreed:
"All the kids became skinny."
However, they took credit for it and explained that it contributed to the success of SHINee's debut and said:
"That's why SHINee was able to debut. That's why they could wear skinny jeans. We are the ones who helped SHINee's debut. If they kept eating like that, SHINee wouldn't have debuted. We managed them properly."
This is a reference to how the contemporary K-pop band SHINee ignited the skinny jeans trend among male groups and started the discussion of breaking gender stereotypes in the K-pop scene.
Super Junior Eunhyuk Reveals Feelings After Becoming CEO of ODE Entertainment with Donghae
On the same day, Eunhyuk and Donghae announced the establishment of their own label, ODE Entertainment and became CEOs after leaving SM Entertainment.
When the word "CEO" poured out from the audience, Eunhyuk said:
"That modifier is still too cheesy. I'm the CEO, but I don't want you to call me that. The official first schedule after establishing the company is today's 'Cultwo Show'. It's a monumental day."
