After the transfer of SM Entertainment artists to the Weverse app, Shawols felt grateful to the fan community for doing THIS for the late SHINee Jonghyun.
Weverse Includes SHINee Jonghyun's Artistpedia Profile After SM Artists' Transfer
Amid the fans' mixed reactions regarding the transfer of SM Entertainment artists from the KWANGYA app to HYBE's official fandom community platform Weverse, Shawols conveyed their appreciation to the channel for doing this for SHINee Jonghyun.
On September 12, artists from SM such as Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, SNSD, SHINee, aespa, Red Velvet, EXO, NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV, and RIIZE celebrated their entry into the fandom-communicating app through welcome message videos.
They also thanked the app for writing it in the present tense as well as for not forgetting that he will ALWAYS be a SHINee member although he isn't here physically anymore.
Fans cited that they didn't expect the treatment that they want for Jonghyun from HYBE, which isn't even the agency of SHINee.
Despite it looking like a "small thing" for some fans, it is truly a huge thing for the group and the fandom when SM Entertainment would often "act like he didn't ever exist in the group."
We all have different opinions about Weverse, but having a place where SHINee is being presented the way it’s meant to is super important to me.

I can’t even begin to tell you the joy I felt when I saw the Jonghyun member card & the way is worded in present tense, as it should pic.twitter.com/CW8rMGQLmr
Notice how jonghyun's weverse bio is present tense btw. He IS a member, He IS multitalented. That's how I want everyone to talk about him

the way that i’m both extremely happy that weverse put jonghyun everywhere, yet ragefull at sm ent. like the fact that we didn’t have to pull on their teeth to just include him. 😐 the bare fucking minimum sm couldn’t do for years, weverse does it on day 0 pic.twitter.com/Ul1uKn20fA

Born in 1990, Jonghyun debuted as a member of the group SHINee in 2008 and has released numerous hit songs such as "Replay," "Lucifer," and "Ring Ding-dong."
He became a solo artist by releasing his first mini album "BASE" in 2015.
Jonghyun left us on December 18, 2017, but his memories and good music remained.
