THIS BTS Member's Unbelievable Behavior Left Choreographer Choi Young Jun Speechless— 'No, you drink first'

Renowned Korean dancer and choreographer Choi Young Jun recently sat down for an interview with Korea Now host Bella Kim, delving into his experiences as a dance trainer on idol survival programs and his work with some of the biggest names in K-Pop, most notably, BTS.

Choi Young Jun, who co-choreographed BTS's 2015 hit song "I Need U," shared insights into his time working with the globally acclaimed group, shedding light on an unforgettable moment that exemplified the members' exceptional character.

An Unexpected Act of Kindness

Choi Young Jun's connection with BTS was not merely professional but stemmed from a personal attachment. Having previously worked as a dancer for the group, he had already developed a fondness for the budding stars.

During the interview, Bella Kim prompted Choi Young Jun to recount his memorable experiences with BTS, prompting a heartwarming story. Choi Young Jun emphasized the group's hard work, noting that as a dancer, his primary focus is on perfecting the dance routines.

In contrast, BTS members bear the added responsibilities of singing, dancing, and conveying emotions through their performances. This multi-faceted approach to their craft often left them physically and mentally drained.

The most striking anecdote Choi Young Jun shared was a display of profound kindness and consideration by one BTS member during an arduous dance practice.

As the entire team was exhausted, one member quickly fetched a water bottle. Initially assuming that the member intended to quench his own thirst, Choi Young Jun was pleasantly surprised when the bottle was offered to him instead.

The choreographer recounted his insistence that the BTS member should drink first, as he could only imagine how physically taxing the practice had been for the group.

However, the member insisted that Choi Young Jun take the water bottle, exemplifying the group's genuine concern for others.

Only after Choi Young Jun took a drink did the BTS member finally accept the bottle, ensuring that other members of the dance team had their needs met first.

Bella Kim seized the opportunity to inquire about the identity of the BTS member behind this heartwarming gesture. Choi Young Jun revealed that the considerate member who offered him the water bottle was none other than BTS's J-Hope.

Choi Young Jun's recollection of this incident serves as a heartwarming testament to BTS's character and their ability to maintain their humility and kindness even in the face of global stardom.
