In an interview, Kyuhyun shared the real reason why he wanted to sign under Antenna.

On November 3, the 155th episode of Park Myung Soo's program "Halmyungsoo" was released, with Super Junior's youngest member Kyuhyun, and television personality Defconn gracing the show.
Defconn: "You moved to Antenna, right?"
Kyuhyun: "Yes, right."
Defconn: "Tell me why you did that."
Kyuhyun: "Huh? You want me to say that on this show?"
Defconn: "Yeah, because the staff from SM are watching this as well."
Park Myung Soo: "Why did you move? Why did you move to Antenna?"
Kyuhyun: "I moved to Antenna because I wanted to try new kinds of music. I made another contract as (a member of) Super Junior. Nothing has changed."

Super Junior Kyuhyun Moves to Antenna After Leaving SM Entertainment
Earlier on August 7, Kyuhyun signed an exclusive contract with Antenna, the company of well-known comedian and TV personality Yoo Jae Suk. Apart from Kyuhyun, Antenna also houses well-known artists such as Yoo Hee Yeol and Lee Hyori.
The agency stated:
"The agency has signed an exclusive contract with Kyuhyun, who is currently promoting as the main vocalist and ballad singer in Super Junior, as he's also been active on numerous variety shows.
We are aiming to offer Kyuhyun our support, which will help him promote a wide range of activities. Since Kyuhyun is now about to start a new chapter, we ask you to please show your support for him."
