ZEROBASEONE has left the K-pop community unimpressed with their musical direction for "CRUSH."

Here's what happened.

ZEROBASEONE's 'CRUSH' Receives Unimpressed Reactions from K-Netz, ZEROSEs

On November 6, netizens established a forum discussing ZEROBASEONE's comeback song "CRUSH." There, the original author uploaded a sequence from the music video, followed by the negative remarks of netters.

Meanwhile, in a different thread, international fans also agreed with the claims. They were baffled as to why WAKEONE would choose this kind of musical direction for ZEROBASEONE, while others claimed that the group is now reaching out to international audiences.

  • "I thought companies have realized that construction noise music from boy groups are horrendous and don't get a good response from the public."
  • "Their debut song was nice. Why didn't they do something similar for their first comeback?"
  • "They (probably) want to reach or collect more fans in international areas."
  • "No matter how much international fans scream about wanting more fresh concepts to return in K-pop, they will only pay attention once boy groups start releasing 'darker concept' music."
