THIS Singer Opens Up About Her Worst Date with a K-pop Idol—'He was the cringiest person...'

In a recent, Korean American singer-songwriter, rapper, MC, and host Grazy Grace opened up about a past relationship with a K-Pop idol that turned out to be her "worst date" ever.

Grace, who debuted on February 5, 2016, with the single "I'm Fine," shared the details of her experience, cautioning young women in Korea to be wary of certain dating dynamics.

An Introduction to Grazy Grace's Dating Journey in the K-Pop Scene

The story begins with Grace being introduced to the K-Pop idol by a trainee friend after her previous relationship with a rapper from YG Entertainment didn't work out. Despite finding the idol's texting style cringe-worthy, she decided to give him a chance and meet him in person.

To her surprise, the idol turned out to be even more handsome in real life, and his personality seemed better than she expected. However, the cringy texting behavior persisted, with the idol even referring to Grace's trainee friend as "sister-in-law."

So, back when was a little trainee girl, my trainee friend introduced me to this guy who later ended up debuting under YG as a rapper, but he left a long time ago. And things didn't work out between me and him, so she just introduces me to somebody else. This guy already back then debuted with a boy group.

After three dates, the idol proposed a relationship, but Grace felt it was too early and opted to get to know him better first. This decision led to an unexpected turn of events, as the idol started distancing himself and essentially ghosting Grace.

I honestly don't know think anybody knew them. I didn't even know them. I met him in person, I was actually shocked because I was like, 'Oh, wow. He looks so much better than his photos.'

Like he was super tall. I thought he was pretty handsome in real life. In real life, he seemed very normal and caring and things like that, but during texting, he was just so weird.

Despite the confusing signals, they had one more date where Grace suggested he ask her to be his girlfriend again, to which she agreed. However, after this agreement, the idol completely ghosted her without any apparent explanation.

Anyway, if you're in your 20s, be careful out there. At least I date for a purpose. There's many people who just wanna get in your pants and love bombs, so be careful.

Reflecting on her experience, Grace cautioned young women in their 20s to be careful while dating in Korea, emphasizing the prevalence of love-bombing and insincere intentions among some men. She shared her perspective, suggesting that not everyone dates with a genuine purpose, and some individuals may have ulterior motives.

As Grazy Grace candidly shares her story, it serves as a cautionary tale for those navigating the modern dating scene, particularly in the unique context of the K-Pop industry and its associated culture.
