Following the initial three tests, BIGBANG G-Dragon's hair dyeing & bleaching results also came out negative. As a response, the police won't be doing any additional tests but THIS.
G-Dragon's Results of Hair Bleaching & Dyeing Are Negative
After repeatedly denying drug accusations, BIGBANG G-Dragon once again proved his innocence after his fourth drug evaluation came out as negative.
On November 24, the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency's drug crime investigation team recently received GD's fourth test from the National Forensic Service, stating:
"There was no circumstantial evidence of bleaching or dyeing Kwon's hair."
This was conducted after the K-pop icon was booked by the police for illegal drug use on October 23. At the time, the K-media reported that he was suspected of taking illicit substances after a nightclub worker mentioned his name while investigating the establishment.
When the report arose, GD jumped to his defense and denied rumors, even stating that he would willingly cooperate with the police investigation.
After visiting the police for his reagent test on November 6, he tested negative. He did another two tests but the results were the same. Both his urine, hair, fingernail and toenails tests weren't able to prove that he had taken drugs for the past six months to 1 year.
On November 16 then, the police requested the National Forensic Service to check whether G-Dragon's hair was dyed or bleached after the three aforementioned evaluations were found to be negative.
As an explanation, dyeing or bleaching often results in poor drug testing accuracy, thus, the drug components were harder to identify.
After a detailed evaluation of his hair, G-Dragon was able to prove that he didn't try to tamper with evidence by bleaching or dyeing his hair.
Even when Kwon attended the police questioning at the Nonhyeon Police Station in Incheon, Kwon was firmed on his position that he didn't take any illegal drugs.
Police Won't Make Additional Tests to GD But Focus on Investigation Through Witnesses
As a result, the police official stated:
"We are not considering further evaluation with Kwon (Jiyong)."
Despite this, the police's investigation doesn't end there. The police are continuing to look into the idol after being booked on charges of drug administration.
While Kwon claims that he "didn't do drugs," the police plan to focus on proving the allegations by investigating witnesses.
Nevertheless, VIPs and even celebrities are supporting BIGBANG GD's innocence. 2NE1 CL, fashion model Suju, photographers Hong Janghyun and Kim Hee Joon, fashion designer Kwon Dami, her older sister, and actor Kim Minjoon, her brother-in-law, are openly cheering for G-Dragon by participating in the "Guardians of Daisy," a campaign being hosted by G-Dragon's fans.
In addition, actor Lee Jinwook pressed "like" on G-Dragon's post on his SNS.
