On this day the idol updated on her recent status. When asked what she's up to these days, JooE shocked the cast when she replied:

"Actually, MOMOLAND didn't break up. But yeah, people think we already disbanded. This time, we are really happy that we can have a fan meeting overseas."

Hearing this, the cast clarified:

"You're going together?"

JooE announced future fan meetings in Japan with MOMOLAND, saying:

"Yes, overseas. We are doing it in Japan."

Upon learning about this, fans were surprised because it was initially announced that the group disbanded.

In February, six members themselves broke the news to Merries (fandom) via Instagram. In an identical handwritten letters posted in Korean and English, the members pointed out:

"After a long, deep discussion, the six of us members have decided to support for each other to have a great new beginning going forward."

At the time, the members wrote that they "will always be a team" but fans initially thought that it was only to show loyalty to the members despite being separated from each other.

"Even though we have decided to take our own paths towards our dreams, Us MOMOLAND will always be a team."

As a result, Merries expressed confused hearts and left comments such as:

  • "MOMOLAND didn't disband?"
  • "Wait, is this the Jane fan meeting? I'm confused."
  • "Don't play with me."

Although fans were a little bit skeptical if JooE was only joking or not, Merries conveyed trust to the idol and are now happily waiting for the upcoming great news.

When MOMOLAND announced that the members would start their new beginning alone, JooE pursued her solo career, starting by joining Mnet's "Queendom Puzzle."

JooE jokingly said that the advantage of being solo is that she doesn't have to share their profits with the members.

However, on a serious note, JooE suffered much after the group's inactivity and confessed:

"We received our salaries just after two years. My parents even bought a foreign car because they thought I would continue to make good money. However, after COVID-19, we had to sell the foreign car."

Currently, JooE acts as the artist and manager all by herself. She drives herself to the filming site and is doing things twice as much as she did when she debuted.

The idol is also the one who prepares her schedule management on top of preparing for her performances.
