JYP Entertainment Draws Back For 'Mistreating' Stray Kids Lee Know
On January 7, 2024, STAYs took to social media to trend "LEE KNOW DESERVES BETTER." This comes after Stray Kid attended several year-end award shows.

According to fans, Lee Know was disrespected by his own company during the group's performances for these year-end award shows.
Many noted that Lee Know was the only member in both 2022 and 2023 to not have a solo stage. On top of that, his dance break for both 2022 and 2023 only lasted five seconds.
Many saw this as an insult due to his status as Stray Kids' main dancer. They said that his lack of solo time to shine was unacceptable.

Fans are criticizing JYP Entertainment, who feel they are not giving his dancing ability any time to shine.
Additionally, they noted that Lee Know's parts tend to get cut out of Stray Kids' performances. When he does get to sing his part, the camera tends to not focus on him. Instead, they zoom in on the audience, the group as a whole, or another member.
STAYs are upset that Lee Know does not get the same opportunities as his fellow Stray Kids' members. They believed that if Lee Know continues to get completely erased from group performances at year-end award shows, this could affect the K-pop industry's perception of him and potentially sabotage any future opportunities moving forward.
This is because year-end award shows are attended by important people with important connections. With Lee Know being deprived of moments that highlight his dance ability, his talent goes unseen.
On top of "LEE KNOW DESERVES BETTER," STAYs are trending "#JYPERespectLeeKnow" and "#JYPETreatLeeKnowBetter." Many are also emailing JYP Entertainment to bring this mistreatment to light.
JYP Entertainment has not responded to the backlash.
