TWICE's "READY TO BE" world tour is coming to an end and many ONCEs have anticipated the ultimate encore of the group. While many were excited for the group's upcoming shows, a sufficient portion of the community was bothered by JYP Entertainment's decision to choose VCHA as TWICE's opening act.
This was because the group was still new to the industry and even led to the point where ONCEs accused JYPE of milking off TWICE's success.
Others claimed that including ITZY or NMIXX would've made more sense since both groups have already carved themselves into the industry when it comes to exposure.
Read their reactions below:
Twice's little brothers,Twice's little sisters n now using Twice’s stadium concerts to promote their groups? Like how JYP needs to use a TWICE name every chance they get to promote their groups, that's just proof that JYP needs TWICE no matter how hard they try to prove otherwise

don't have anything against the girls, I'm sure I'll get to like them just like I did with Itzy and NMIXX, but having a rookie group with only a pre-debut release perform in freaking VEGAS is so out of pocket...

@jypnation has been milking off of Twice's success to promote up to 2 generations of their juniors and there's people who still question their relevance in the company smh... https://t.co/EK7KklBekb

i ain’t mad at all, i stan vcha and its just twice took 8 years to perform on a big stadium/arena. and them? just like that? no hard work like twice did?. its just unfair inshort. https://t.co/c4vFCJkQF5

However, some ONCEs defended VCHA from the negative remarks by offering them supportive words, while expressing that they would also do a great job as the opening act. They added how TWICE would surely be proud and happy to see their juniors perform with them in their concerts.
Here's how they reacted:
OMG VCHA OPENING FOR TWICE AT THEIR SOLD OUT STADIUM SHOWS pic.twitter.com/VQI94w2nzH
Onces so fucking bitter bc what’s so bad abt vcha opening for twice like if twice was so big and successful like y’all say they are you wouldn’t be doing so much over a new gg opening for them

quotes being nasty to vcha, idk what they have done for y'all onces to act this way esp knowing that group is filled with teenagers, maybe be a little supportive towards twice younger sister who have interacted with twice before https://t.co/wlau8KPf4s pic.twitter.com/MMpALvkuyZ

VCHA was formed on the reality survival show "A2K," which was a collaboration between JYP Entertainment and Republic Records. The group is composed of members Camila, Lexi, Kendall, Savanna, KG, and Kaylee.
In their pre-debut days, VCHA released their first English pre-debut digital single "SeVit (New Light)," alongside its title track "Y.O.Universe."
On December 1, the group dropped their second English pre-debut digital single "Ready for the World."
This 2024, VCHA would finally be making their official debut on January 26, with their single "Girls of the Year."
