It was recently discovered that Jake is suffering from a sasaeng. For those unaware, a sasaeng is a Korean term used to describe obsessive fans who do everything they can to stalk their idols and become close to them.
It was discovered that this sasaeng, known online as Chloe (or ReALcHLoE_ on Weibo), would purchase plane tickets to sit nearby Jake. She would even take photos of the male idol while he was asleep. Chloe did not censor herself or Jake. If she was on the flight with a friend, she would also forget to censor her accomplice's face.
Allegedly, Chloe has been stalking Jake for a while. In fact, she has been doing this for a long time. Her behavior does not end with just getting on the same flight as him. One of her posts read, "Look at the puppy who slept through the entire flight," suggesting she watched the idol as he slept for the entire trip.
Sadly, it appears Chloe will not stop soon. Chinese fans have noted that Chloe has also stalked other Korean celebrities before, and not just ENHYPEN's Jake.
Many are taking to social media to call the sasaeng out. They are also tagging the official accounts of BELIFT Lab and HYBE Labels in the hopes that the company will take action to better protect their artists.
