Entertainer Park Myung Soo Confesses to Waiting For G-Dragon Comeback
On February 2, 2024, the latest episode of KBS CoolFM's "Park Myung Soo's Radio Show" hit the airwaves. For this episode, big data expert Jeon Min Ki appeared as a guest for the show's "Search N Chart" section.
During this section, the two introduced trending search keywords and touched on a variety of topics. One of the things they mentioned are the top five regular members of the Korea Music Copyright Associations, also known as KOMCA.
He stated, "I will introduce the top five regular members of the KOMCA. In fifth place, we have (G)I-DLE's Soyeon. In fourth place, it is BIGBANG's G-Dragon."
Upon hearing G-Dragon's name, Park Myung Soo confessed that he is waiting for the idol to return to the music industry, saying, "I wish G-Dragon would come out with new songs quickly."
The entertainer then looked back at his time on "Infinite Challenge with G-Dragon, saying, "During the filming of 'Infinite Challenge' before, he sang 'Crayon' right in front of me. I thought I could sing 'Crayon,' too, but it did not turn out as well as I thought."
He then joked that that was when he realized being a singer was not for him, so he opted to be a DJ instead.
Park Myung Soo wistfully spoke about his hopes for G-Dragon to promote atgain, saying, "I hope he makes a comeback soon and appears on radio shows."
He also spoke about why he loves G-Dragon's songs, saying, "His songs are great because there are many that are not difficult and can be easily sung along to."

G-Dragon Recent Activities
On January 1, 2023, G-Dragon revealed his plans for a new comeback album. Later in June, YG Entertainment mentioned that G-Dragon's contract had ended, but they were in talks about possible collaborations, including advertising deals, while they continued discussions about renewing his contract
However, things took a turn on December 20 when it was confirmed that G-Dragon had parted ways with YG Entertainment. On that day, Galaxy Corporation made an official announcement, stating that they had successfully signed G-Dragon, and they had exciting plans for his comeback in 2024.
