Weverse Magazine & HYBE Face Backlash for 'Discrediting' BTS RM in 'Spring Day' Feature Article

On February 8, ARMYs voiced out their anger towards Weverse Magazine and HYBE for overlooking RM's creativity, contribution, and impact in BTS' song "Spring Day."

Fans have called out the feature article Weverse Magazine released earlier on February 7, which delved into the story and significance of "Spring Day."

The writer wrote about how "Spring Day" became a vessel for the members to comfort and connect to listeners by communicating their feelings. It also shared how it served as "a prayer for everyone who disappeared along the way," and a "pure form of consolation for those who survived."

The author quoted RM from the group's biography "BEYOND THE STORY: 10-YEAR RECORD OF BTS," stating how the leader wanted to produce a track that contained a lasting impact and that's "loved by Korean people for a long time."

However, many fans were disappointed with the article, saying that it didn't highlight further on RM's songwriting, idea, vision, and overall involvement.
