FIFTY FIFTY's Agency Shares Thoughts on The Givers' CEO Ahn Sung Il's Prosecution

The Givers' CEO Ahn Sung Il Prosecuted, ATTRAKT Comments on Legal Proceeding

On February 16, ATTRAKT announced the prosecution of The Givers' CEO Ahn Sung Il.

The notice elaborated that Ahn Sung Il has now entered the prosecution due to charges of "business obstruction" and "damage to electronic records."

"We have received a notice from the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul, which stated, 'In the case where you accused Ahn Sung Il of obstruction of business and damage to electronic records, etc., has been recognized as an act of crime and has been sent to prosecution (without detention."

A source from ATTRAKT added that these are the first results from the police investigation since it was filed in June 2023. Moreover, ATTRAKT shared that an additional case filed back in July 2023, was also being thoroughly investigated.

"The first police investigation (results) has come out eight months after the lawsuit against Ahn Sung Il, the CEO/Producer of The Givers," ATTRAKT shared. "Regarding the case filed on July 7, 2023, we are still investigating additional crimes of embezzlement, forgery of private documents, and falsification of investigative documents."

"We are confident that Ahn Sung Il's alleged crimes will be revealed in the future," the agency added.

In other news, ATTRAKT filed a civil lawsuit against former FIFTY FIFTY members Saena, Sio, and Aran, alongside their parents, and The Givers.

On December 19, ATTRAKT shared that the complaints were filed against the former members due to damages and contract violations.

Their parents, alongside The Givers' Ahn Sung Il and Baek Jin Sil, were also sued for actively participating in the contract breach and damages due to illegal joint endeavors. Lee & Ko law firm representative and lawyer, Park Jae Heon, also shared a statement regarding the case.

"We will do our best to carry out the lawsuit." Park Jae Heon stated. "This case extends beyond the concern of a simple compensation of damages, as it's important to know that this lawsuit is a chance to establish the entertainment sector's fair trade practices."

On June 28, 2023, all four FIFTY FIFTY members filed for a provisional disposition to terminate their exclusive contracts.

According to their claims, ATTRAKT had violated contract terms such as settlement transparency and that they were forced into schedules despite having poor health. However, on October 16, 2023, member Keena dropped her lawsuit against ATTRAKT.

This was followed by the agency's termination of Saena, Sio, and Aran's contracts on October 23, 2023, leaving Keena as the only active member of the group.
