Yuehua Entertainment Releases Apology Regarding TEMPEST Hwarang's Club Visits

On February 19, a viral clip containing a short audio file involving Hwarang went viral on social media platform X (Twitter).

According to the content, the fan voiced that Hwarang was seen at a club allegedly accompanied by other idols.

In the call, the idol stated that he didn't do anything unruly at the club and wasn't "fooling" around with women. Moreover, in a caption, the caller mentioned various male idols such as Hyunseong of YOUNITE, Junhyuk of MIRAE, Hyunsoo of TNX, and Bomin of Golden Child.

The clip spread across the platform, causing international fans to doubt the subject's veracity since certain portions of the video were muted. Others were enraged with the criticism Hwarang had received in light of the issue. Read their reactions below:

Following the incident, Yuehua Entertainment released an official statement apologizing for Hwarang's actions. The agency addressed the ongoing issue, clarifying that while the content surrounding Hwarang online was far from being true, the idol has expressed regret about clubbing.

"Hello. This is Yuehua Entertainment.

We would like to address the issues surrounding our artist Hwarang, which have been circulating around social media. We express our sincerest apologies to all the fans who have been worried about our artist Hwarang's behavior and actions.

The contents distributed over social media are different from the facts. However, Hwarang has conveyed regret for visiting the club. In order to prevent similar incidents from happening again, Hwarang has promised not to repeat this behavior, and that the agency will offer special attention.

We apologize once again to fans for causing concerns due to this incident, along with the TEMPEST members at the time of their comeback."

TEMPEST Hwarang Halts Schedules Due to Shoulder Injury

In other news, Hwarang temporarily canceled all his official schedules on October 19, 2023, when Yuehua disclosed his injured shoulder. According to its statement, Hwarang has also halted his activities to focus on surgery and recovery.

This incident led the idol to be unable to attend future schedules such as TEMPEST's fan signing event on October 22, 2023. Furthermore, the agency assured fans that Hwarang will receive treatment to return in good shape.
