On February 16, 2024, Rolling Stones released the updated version of their "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" list. The update covers three years, from 2021 to early 2024. Their last update before their most recent one was from September 2021.

BTS's 'Dynamite' Ranks at 347 on Rolling Stone's '500 Greatest Songs of All Time'

The first BTS to make the list is "Dynamite," which sits at 347.

"Dynamite" marks BTS's first full-English language song, as well as their first song to ever top the Billboard Hot 100. The song was a groundbreaking moment that allowed the South Korean boy group to officially break into the Western music mark.

"Dynamite" is a seamless blend of BTS's vocal talent, notably led by the group's maknae, Jungkook. The song was co-written by British producer-songwriter Dave Steward and Jessica Agombar.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, Dave Steward revealed that Columbia Records had been looking for an English-language hit for BTS during the time they released "Dynamite." At the time, they wanted the tempo to be fun and exciting. And he definitely stuck to the memo!

The second song mentioned on the list is "Spring Day."
