Commotion at Airport During TREASURE Arrival Sparks Major Concern
On February 25, 2024, TREASURE appeared at Gimpo International Airport after completing their Japanese activities. Their arrival in the country was met with a chaotic situation, with a large number of fans sparking disorders as they tried to reach the boys.
Korean media outlet OSEN published an article with the title, "'If we keep doing this, we are all going to die.' Entering the country among TREASURE's disorderly fans."
In the video, fans are seen pushing and shoving each other as they attempt to reach TREASURE. Bodyguards can be heard screaming at the fans, begging them to back off and allow the members to pass. At the same time, TREASURE fans can be heard yelling the names of their favorite members.
Media outlets were also at the scene, as it is common for news portals to update when artists arrive or leave the country. As they filmed the K-pop group, a reporter can be heard saying, "We're going to die," as they backed off.
BLACKPINK Rosé and Jisoo Crowded at the Airport
Recently, the causes of chaos erupting in airports due to the arrival of a famous idol have been rampant.
On February 25, Rosé appeared at Incheon International Airport to head to France for Paris Fashion Week. As fans jostled and pushed one another to get close to Rosé, a fan fell in front of the idol due to the shoving. Rosé was seen checking up on the fan to make sure they were okay.
On February 26, Jisoo was also seen at the airport heading to France for Paris Fashion Week. In videos, she is seen struggling to walk as fans crowd her. In fact, she had to stop at least twice and was seen panicking as fans kept falling.
These three incidents have sparked outrage online. Many believe that if fans want to see their idols in the airport, they should stay calm so as not to harm their favorite celebrity, as well as those around them.
