Netizens Question TREASURE's Popularity Following Lack of Fans During Latest Airport Sighting

On February 1, 2024, TREASURE members Hyunsuk and Jihoon were seen leaving for Japan through Gimpo International Airport in Banghwa-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, to participate in their overseas tour schedule.

While walking through the airport, the members were seen wearing masks that covered their whole faces. Additionally, the members rocked an all-black ensemble with hoods covering their heads.

Following their appearance, a post titled "TREASURE's airport was completely empty because they did not have a single stick fangirl," was uploaded to a popular South Korean online community forum. Stick fangirl refers to fans who stick to the bodies of their idols.

The user noted that there was not a single fan girl who tried to get near the members in the airport. Addditonally, they claimed the airport looked completely empty, showing barely any fans took the time to wish the members' good-bye.

The post has since caused many to wonder if TREASURE is actually popular.

Some noted how ridiculous the members looked as they tried to cover themselves up. Another internet user recalled how TREASURE flew from Japan to Korea a few days ago, but there was not a single fansite for member Junkyu. As there were no photos of him, many wondered if he had been left behind in Japan.

Others, however, wondered if they were covered up to hide their color, which would hint at a new comeback. Some also pointed out that there were some fan girls behind them.
