Beomhan Refutes Sexual Assault Allegations Made Against Him, Fans Back Soloist Up

On March 11, fans re-uploaded screenshots from the now-deleted post made by TikTok user @oyimioo regarding Beomhan.

The images showed a photo slideshow recounting the user's alleged interaction with the soloist, and it was titled, "My experience with Beomhan with proofs." According to the post, @oyimioo claimed they had an interaction with Beomhan through Snapchat on January 30, 2022.

The interaction occurred after discovering they had mutual friends. Eventually, on May 22, 2022, the two allegedly met for the first time. The user claimed that Beomhan was allegedly in New York, and during those two weeks in the location, they would allegedly see each other.

OP then shared how Beomhan complained about the rules regarding fan service. Afterwards, Beomhan inquired the OP's feelings before offering a drink, which @oyimioo allegedly declined due to being underage. It then shared specific details about the alleged assault.

Furthermore, @oyimioo followed up with a second post, which relayed more photos of an Uber receipt, an alleged conversation with a friend, and a police file complaint. The user also shared several screencaps of comments from unconvinced netizens.

The accusations spread like wildfire on social media, eventually reaching the attention of Beomhan himself. After seeing the claims, Beomhan relayed the number for the National Sexual Assault Hotline on his Instagram Stories for real victims to call the number.

Beomhan then stated the claims of him being in New York on May 22, 2022, were fabricated, and posted evidence showing him being in Guam during that time. Beomhan then shared that the Snapchat photo could be sighted on Pinterest and that he didn't have the application.

Regarding the claim when he was allegedly in New York, Beomhan revealed that he was livestreaming at that time from South Korea.

Beomhan revealed that another "proof" photo used was also found on Pinterest. The soloist shared that the photo was taken during his Bali trip with his family. He then pointed out that he got his tattoo from the photo in 2023, contradicting the OP's alleged story that "took place" in 2022.

Lastly, the singer mentioned that the alleged police report misspelled his name Harry Wu as "Harey Wu." Beomhan captioned that "Harald Wu" is his full government name.

The Stories ended with Beomhan expressing his frustration over the false claims, as well as his sympathies towards victims of sexual assault.

Fans have also voiced out their anger towards the TikToker for making such claims against Beomhan.
