On March 11, 2024, STAYs rallied together on X to trend "JYPE PROTECT HYUNJIN." They also trended several other hashtags, such as "#JYPE_Protect_Hyunjin," "ProtectHyunjin," and "#JYP는_황현진을_보호하라."

'JYPE PROTECT HYUNJIN': STAYs Demand Better Treatment for Stay Kids Member

STAYs are complaining that Hyunjin has been the victim of hate and defamation on social media platforms for nearly three years. The hate against the idol started when the idol was accused of being a school bully, and though the claims have been dispelled, the hate remains.

It was also noted that he is not being properly promoted by the agency. During his appearance at Milan Fashion Week, he was not provided ample security at the airport. He also did not have personal stylists, as his hair and make-up were not professionally done for his departure and his appearance at the Versace Fashion Show.

On top of that, he did not have a personal photographer for his solo events, and no fashion film was provided for him at the show.

Besides that, STAYs claim Hyunjin barely gets any screen time or lines in Stray Kids' comebacks. They also stated he barely gets solo schedules for variety shows, and when he does, the company either does not market it on social media, or they post late.

It was also noted that Hyunjin had injured his hand, which resulted in surgery. Despite that, the company did not tweak the choreography of "Case 143," which requires a lot of hand movements. They also constantly changed his hand cast in a month.

With all these issues piling up, STAYs are demanding that JYP Entertainment take legal action against those spreading false information and malicious comments against Hyunjin. They want to company to protect Hyunjin's reputation, as well as his mental and emotional well-being from unnecessary hate.

They also hope JYP Entertainment starts putting more effort into how they manage not just Hyunjin, but Stray Kids as a whole.
