BRIIZEs Announce Boycott of RIIZE Comeback: 'Join us as we raise our voices...'

Ahead of RIIZE's comeback in April, its fans, especially international BRIIZEs announced that they will boycott the group's upcoming release for THIS reason.

Earlier in March, SM Entertainment confirmed that its rookie boy group RIIZE is heralding a new music release in April.

According to the label's initial statement, the team is in its final stage of preparation. With this, it raises anticipation as this will be their first release in three months after its hit track, "Love 119" was unveiled in January.

'RIIZE Is 7': BRIIZEs Announce Boycott of Group's Upcoming Return Without Seughan

While the majority of the fandom rejoiced in excitement for the group's new song, international BRIIZEs expressed their frustration as there is no mention of whether member Seunghan will finally join the group on its comeback.

In particular, after his pre-debut private life was leaked by netizens, Seunghan was left with no choice but to halt his activities.

At the time, SM Entertainment explained that the male idol suffered mental pressure and was apologetic to his co-members and fans for causing the disappointment and chaos that his controversies had brought.

As a result, both Seunghan and SM decided for the idol to indefinitely take a break from their group activities.

Unfortunately, about four months had passed, but the label refused to update on the male idol's status and return to the group.

In the first place, Seunghan's fans believed that he shouldn't suffered such a break at all since he didn't commit any crime, but only lived his life as a normal teenager was supposed to do, which included dating and drinking.

With this, international BRIIZEs started a campaign of boycotting the group's future release and promotion, unless they bring back Seunghan in the group.

The union announced:

"RIIZE IS 7, BRING SEUNGHAN ВАСК!

To protect Seunghan and all other members of RIIZE from further mistreatment, if Seunghan is not included, we have decided to boycott the comeback.

Join us as we raise our voices through boycotting. Our first move is boycotting the comeback. We won't be streaming anything or allowing them to trend. What we are boycotting includes teasers, the comeback itself, album sales, streaming, merchandise, and any content related to the comeback.

However, if Seunghan is included, the boycott will not proceed.

Our stance is clear: We stand by Seunghan.

Stay tuned for updates as we await the comeback dates."

SM Entertainment has yet to address this boycott and or any related topic involving Seunghan.
