Amid his dating rumors, RIIZE member Anton is drawing flak for his "subpar" skills in dancing and singing.
Earlier this month, a photo of Anton holding hands with a girl was leaked online, sparking dating rumors. Though his face was not visible in the photo, people were able to pinpoint his identity due to his Louis Vuitton bag. His dating rumors sparked backlash, since he is a rookie who has been active for less than a year and RIIZE is still garnering a fanbase.
Following the backlash, Anton is now facing criticism for his lack of idol skills.
RIIZE Anton Draws Backlash for His 'Horrible' Skills
On March 14, 2024, a post titled "Anton is f*cking bad" was uploaded to a popular South Korean online community forum. The original poster (OP) included several clips of Anton performing and questioned how he was able to debut in a big company with his skills.
Since the post was uploaded, it has been viewed over 133,000 times and garnered over 680 comments.
Many people rushed to the comment section to agree with the poster. They wondered how Anton was able to debut with his talents, with some comparing him with the "F" grade trainees from Mnet's "Produce" series.
Others disliked the fact that he only has one facial expression for all his performances. Many Korean netizens pointed out that it is true that he lacks skills and wonder why Anton's fans keep writing posts trying to defend him.
Some even claimed that they could perform better than he does.
Some comments read:

- "He is ugly."
- "The fact that Anton's expressions are all the same is f*cking hilarious."
- "Seriously, the fact that he is talentless is just a fact. Why are his fans always trying to write posts promoting him? Where is the shame?"
- "Seriously, how did Anton debut?"
- "He reminds me of the F grade trainees from 'Produce.'"
