Karina Drops Spoiler About aespa’s 1st Full Album: ‘The Coolest Among Our Songs...'

In a fan call, aespa Karina revealed that they will do THIS concept next on their upcoming comeback, then claiming that it would be the coolest among their past releases.

Earlier on March 14, a Korean My (aespa fan) shared the snippet of a fan call that they had with Karina.

Upon its upload, the clip became a hot topic as it contained a SPOILER about aespa's upcoming first full-length album.

aespa Karina Hints at Concept of Next Comeback Song

During the fan call event, the OP asked the star to give hints about their next album and hearing this, "Spoiler Fairy" Karina gladly talked about their upcoming song, saying:

"It's like hip-hop. It's super cool. I think that among (aespa's) songs, this one is the coolest."

When this news spread online, MYs from all over the world showed high anticipation, even making it a trend on the X platform with cheering posts.

More Details About aespa's 1st Full-Length Album

In particular, after delaying their first studio album last year, SM Entertainment said that aespa will be dropping their full-length release in 2024.

The expected release date is in the month of April, but as of the moment, the agency didn't mention that the quarter will have a comeback in the second quarter, looking at its recently released 2Q comeback lineup report.

Despite this MYs are hopeful that it will be released soon since the members are constantly updating fans about the album.

Other than Karina, Giselle also revealed that they started filming, saying:

In the meantime, aespa continues to fulfill their busy schedules in and out of the country.

On March 20, aespa is set to perform a congratulatory stage for the opening game of the 2024 MLB World Tour: Seoul Series, the season opener of Major League Baseball (MLB). It will be held at Gocheok Sky Dome and other K-pop idols including EXO Baekhyun and (G)I-DLE will also join them.

As this is the first MLB regular season opening game to be held in Korea, it proved aespa's unrivaled popularity and influence.

In particular, aespa threw out the first pitch since its debut in a game between the New York Yankees and the Chicago White Sox held at the New York Yankees Stadium in June last year, and this performance is even more meaningful as the group is once again connected with the Major League in Korea.

Meanwhile, in June, aespa is also set to kick off its second world tour, "the 2024 aespa LIVE TOUR - SYNK: Parallel Line' starting with a performance in Seoul on June 29th & 30th.

The tour will continue to meet with fans all over the world, with aespa meeting MYs in Japan in July visiting various cities such as Fukuoka, Nagoya, Saitama and Osaka.

The four-member group will also go to Singapore, Hong Kong and Taipei, as well as Jakarta, Sydney, Melbourne, Macau and Bangkok until September.
